Late Breaking News

with our ARC correspondent, Morri

Our forum has won the RDW's Gold Award for forum and website excellence. The RhyDin Web Directory is a new forum ,character and guild listing service.  We're also the RPN (Role Playing Network)'s April interview of the month, and have been declared as their official forum.

Leading off with our top story this issue...the death of Dlonn.  Rumors have been circulating throughout the realm that the evil god is indeed gone for good.  While no body has been recovered, so far all reports have been confirmed.  Shidi and her friends were finally able to track down Dlonn, and in a final battle, Shidi emerged victorious.  Unfortunately, we were unable to send reporters in to bring back live coverage, but details can be found from many of Shidi's new followers.

In related news, Gareth Uth'Malin and Loki have forged a tentative truce following the outcome of the Dlonn's death.  We have not been able to reach either of them for comments, or confirm what this truce will mean for Kalys in her long standing whine for her love God, Loki.

Other related topics...Nefir is currently unable to use magic, fight, or basically any thing else while under a new enchantment.  Many speculate this may have something to do with his botched murder plot on Shi....still others wonder if maybe Kalys is keeping him under lock and key so to speak while she makes a move on Loki....

A late breaking report states the beginnings of a riot near one of Shidi's temple.  After the recent refiguring of current gods and goddess known to Rhydinians and other known realms, it seems many have switched to the Chaos Goddess in this troubled time.  Altair was last seen pulling out his hair and trying to avoid the pleas of the newly converted and his fiance' wanting to know which flowers look better for centerpieces.

On a lighter note, we would like extend a heartfelt congratulations to Altair and Calandria, and Alex  (Legarro) and Dark  in their spring Nuptials.  A warm welcome also goes out to Shidi and Herb on the birth of their son Kieran, another fine member of the Legarro family.

A new celebrity, Jaharna of Fairton is making friends all over the place with her sad tale.  After being reunited with her long lost grandfather, she discovered she was an heiress to a large castle located in her home of Fairton.  Continuing this rags to riches to rags again story, it seems the castle is currently occupied, and the tenants don't have any plans to move at this time.

Terrindarr and several of his friends departed Metro Rhydin a few weeks ago for his homeland of Toril.  The Ranger wouldn't comment on the reason he was leaving, simply stated he had family business, but an insider reports Terrin is on a quest to track down his true parentage and remember his childhood.  This insider was also quoted muttering "stupid Ranger" several times throughout the interview.

As the persona craze kicks into full swing on Verga, reports of missing ARC personas pile up. As of this date, the only remaining personas we could track down are Tenka, Kuro, and Penn-Ryuu.  All owners of personas and past lives are warned to guard them carefully.  And as Rhydianian adventures swarm to Verga to get their own cards, The goddess Verga petitioned ARC leaders today for admittance of her own planet to the realm.

The Empire of Miloch seems to be suffering setbacks, such as major revolutions, Late Breaking News will keep you informed of any new developments in this story.

Keoke was welcomed back to the realm of the living this week by friends and family.  After a temporary hiatus in Deathsville, the dragon seems to be back to her usual self.  Sighting have also been reported of Myst, more recently deceased in the battle of Dlonn, proving once again that, in Rhydin, death only means you change the way you spell your name.

Kamek stopped by a recent Adventurer staff meeting to say hello and report he is still busy fighting Krulls.  His battles keep him out of touch with most ARCians.

The realm of Ashira is currently advertising living space for sale or rent...
check out the classifieds for more details.

And our final story...an apparent plant uprising may be in the works, as Chomp and several large rosebushes take to the streets.  Our brave reports were unable to obtain quotes as to their reasons for the march before they were punted.  Seems something big may be in the air....besides allergies.

NEWS FLASH!

Another sighting is being reported of the mysterious do-gooder.  Showing up lately to help ARC heroes during their battles, he..or she..or it..never stays long enough to be identified.  Dispearring in a flash, he/she/it leaves behind thanks and corny questions like "who was that masked man"

Public Health Warning!
THIS IS NOT A TEST!!
THE BEEP YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE REALLY WILL BE FOLLOWED WITH NEWS!!
BEEP!

Once again, the Adventurer news staff is the first to bring you warning of a new danger.  Several ogres have been spotted loose in Legarro forest and near the Arena.  Henry's guards are working overtime to keep this immigration under control.  People are warned to avoid these creature, unless they are carrying a tube of oil paint and brushes.  Sponsors claim this will "In no way put a damper on the Fair."

That's the news... Morri out.

*(Editor's note:Ogres can be dangerous, especially when really mad. But then again, so can other beings, like Kender)
