Voecks:
Welcome to the second Web Review. Today
my host is.. uh, what was your name again? .
Jeremy:
Jeremy Stone...
Voecks:
Oh, yeah. Whatever. Anyways, the
site we're looking at is
Virtual Home of Starfire Swords
Voecks:
Do you have any comments? Because I
think this site sucks.
Jeremy:
While this site deals with rather...antiquated
material, I think its rather well done. And did you even look at
it before you said this?
Voecks:
Uhm... yes.... of course I did... yeah.. ahem.
Oh, and using big words is against the rules. None of this "antiquated"
stuff.
Jeremy:
::sighs:: All right, how about "old"?
And why do you say this site sucks?
Voecks:
Well, if old is what you meant, why didn't
you say that in the first place?
Jeremy:
I was, in a rather roundabout way. And
shouldn't we talk about the site?
Voecks:
Well don't talk in roundabout ways.
Hmf.
Jeremy:
Anyways, I think the site is well done.
It covers anything that people who are interested in the subject would
want to know.
Voecks:
Mr. Smartarse, you haven't even mentioned
what the site is about. Yeesh. People think they're so smart
just cause they use big words.
Jeremy:
It's kinda assumed with the name of "Starfire
Swords", you know?
Voecks:
Well most of the people who see this are stupid.
Jeremy:
-Anyways-, this site offers a visual catalog
of its products, like swords, daggers, axes, or other forms of medieval
weaponre.
Voecks:
Why would anyone want a visual catalog of
that stuff?
Jeremy:
To see it perhaps?
Voecks:
People can look at their -own- swords.
Jeremy:
Well, what if they are interested in purchasing
a new sword and are a little hesitant to buy a sword without seeing it,
eh?
Voecks:
Yeah, but they don't take shirans! They only
take mun money. And why do all the pictures have that stupid white flower
on them?
Jeremy:
Well, if they aren't interested in buying,
they can get hints on how to take care of their blades to avoid rust damage
or care for the leather-wrapped hilts.
Voecks:
Orrrr... they can just get their sword enchanted
so it won't rust or get messed up!
Jeremy:
Mind telling me just how the muns are supposed
to do that?? And speaking of art, the background, while simply done, fits
the theme of the page well.
Voecks:
Ehhhh.. I dont like it.
Jeremy:
Do you have anything positive to say about
this page?
Voecks:
Nope!
Jeremy:
Well, I like the fact that they offer links
to other related sites and that they publish letters that compliment their
work. It may be like patting themselves on the back, but it helps
to know that others don't think that their work stinks.
Voecks:
I bet they burn the thousands of letters they
get that say they suck.
Jeremy:
::shakes head:: So is this the part where
we rate the page?
Voecks:
:shrugs:: Sure. On a scale of one to
ten, I give it a negative twelve.
Jeremy:
Well I give it an eight and I recommend it
to anyone interested in owning their own sword.
Voecks:
You like muns, dont you?
Jeremy:
Well, I know my mun owns a Starfire and he
knows other people who like their swords, so that's why I recommend it
:;grabs his mun's blade:: should I demonstrate?
Voecks:
I bet that thing breaks if you try and use
it. ::snorts::
Jeremy:
Heh, only one way to find out... ::stalks
off stage::
Voecks:
Hey, where you going!
Jeremy:
Hmm, I think this is the rope to the sandbag
above ya... Heads up Voeks! ::cuts the rope:
Voecks:
...huh? ::looks up::
<thud> <Voecks gets hit by a sandbag, and knocked out>
Jeremy:
Hmm, I'd say the sword works. Thanks
for tuning in to the show folks. When he wakes up, join Voecks for
the next edition of Web Review ::waves and walks off::
This concludes this issue's Web Review. Voecks.....Voecks? <m>....he really should see Herb about some life insurance.. .or at least personal injury...
